Hi all! I’m wondering what chatbot service you’re mostly using? Are you a fan of Gemini? What about Perplexity? Or is ChatGPT and Claude still going strong? What’s your favorite right now?
I’ve been using Claude for the last year and a half, and it’s been fantastic. I will be diving into Perplexity, as it seems to be really good for research.
I use ChatGPT the most. My top use cases are for generating a list of ideas (travel activities, character names, meal options, blog ideas, etc. etc.) and also for turning bullet points or outlines into narratives. It’s great at generating text.
But Perplexity I’ve grown to love. For all cases when I used to search for “How does x work?” or “What is y?”, I now use Perplexity instead of a search engine. It’s amazing.
I refuse to use any of them, because I’m a cranky contrarian. Hi everybody!

And then for research the Google Notebook LM in tandem with the standford New Research Topic generator is money. → Storm Genie by Stanford University
Most of the time it’s to refine code, suggest and populate and create topics for summary documents, and data visualization tools. Also extracting pertinent–logic based information. For example, how predecessors and successors in a proejct schedule impact the critical path and pull those out for revenue and forecasting.
