Hi All,
Most of us saw Palantir blow it out of the water (not surprising to some of us) with their latest numbers. Their approach to building data architectures to enable data to be monetised through LLMs now holds even more water as META announced their partnership to bring Llama to the US Defence sector. Does VAST have a relationship with Palantir? Candidly, they are the only game in town when it comes to AI projects which reach production and scale.
Thanks for sharing your insight Chetan into the some of the builders in AI including Palantir. VAST’s public customers can be found on the VAST customer page: Companies Using VAST Data - Case Studies & Reviews
Hey Chet.
Yes, we do have a relationship with Palantir. It’s early days, but yes the two companies are now working together (VAST at the data infra layer, and Palantir at the data processing layer). I would expect more developments on this in the coming year.
@jeff Excellent! If they route everything via Foundry to build the use cases, the VAST_platform should be the backend to enable Palantir_Ontology to query the data directly using the VAST_object service. Thus, any service they deploy or connect to could have a local VAST service as the data_store, enabling local processing and leveraging the VAST_DataSpace for control.
