# Generate Public Key for Cursor SSH Access

Complete the following steps manually before you try to `Connect via SSH` on Cursor.

1. `ssh-keygen -t ed25519 -f ~/.ssh/id_ed25519_cursor -C "cursor-vm"`
2. `pbcopy < ~/.ssh/id_ed25519_cursor.pub`
3. Paste key under `Option 1 - Key`:
